Our New and Improved BODY AND MIND Biggest Loser Contest

starts the week of April 10 – 14 and ends May 22

Great way to lose 8 to 20 pounds in 6 weeks, working with your trainer who will
be programming your workouts and nutrition for your own personal goals and weight loss.
Plus chances to win prizes and cash!  There won’t be a final winner, instead everyone who reaches their own weight loss goal will get to split the cash pot…you’ll be competing against yourself to win!

All ages and fitness levels can work toward their goals in a safe, effective and fun level of competition with highly experienced trainers with many years of experience.

  • Start date week is April 10 – 14 – All participants must have their start weight recorded with trainer between Monday, August 10 and Friday, April 14
  • End date is Monday May 22 All participants must do final weigh in on Monday May 22 at 6:00 pm is the final deadline to be eligible to win.
  • Entry fee is $40 and you compete against yourself in weight loss to win. Fee is nonrefundable.
  • Participants must pay for personal training sessions and train a minimum of  12 times during the 6 weeks of the contest. It is recommended to train at least 2 times a week with one of the personal trainers.
  • Your first weigh-in will be recorded by your trainer, monitored weekly by your trainer and participants who reach their goal of 5% or 10% weight loss will be announced at the end of the 8 weeks. You’re competing for yourself to reach your weight loss goal, so there will be no weekly postings.
  • At the end of the 8 weeks if you have lost 5% of your start weight you will be part of splitting the cash pot from entry fees. If you lose 10% of your body weight you get another part of splitting the cash price. So take your current weight and multiply it times 5% or 10% to know what you will need to lose. (For most people 5% averages between 1 and 2 pounds per week – 10% averages between 1.5 and 3 pounds per week)
  • Win Weekly Prizes! Each week if you reach a personal goal that was set for you your name goes in a prize drawing!  Your trainer will set personal goals with you each week that could be nutritional, cardio, strength or personal habit changes. If you achieve the goals set and verified by your trainer for that week your name will go in a weekly drawing for a prize.

Referral Incentive to our Current Clients:

Refer a New Client, or a client who hasn’t trained in the past 3 months at Functional Fitness, to participate in the Biggest Loser Contest.  If they join in then that trainer will pay your contest fee or your referral’s contest fee of $40. Share this opportunity with your friends, family, neighbors and co-workers.

If you’re a New Client, or client who hasn’t trained in past 3 months at, and you pay up front for 16 personal training sessions to participate in the Biggest Loser Contest your trainer will pay your $40 contest fee! Share this opportunity with your friends, family, neighbors and co-workers.
